Mislaw - producer and DJ living in Wrocław. Founder of the label and collective Całość. He loves to create and receive music in various forms. After graduating from music school, intrigued by the sounds of The Prodigy, he began a journey through genres such as rave, breakbeat or drum&bass to enter the world of techno for good. His debut EP was released in 2016, and then he released e.g. in Spanish Spazio Sonoro, British The AudioBloc or local BRESLAU TECHNO. He is the creator of music for fashion shows, theater performances and sports galas. Solo and with a band, he performed all over the country and internationally, including at the Olympic Games in South Korea. His constant striving to improve his own workshop and the surrounding music scene meant that he also deals with the transfer of knowledge - he teaches piano and production on a daily basis at TONY music school.

Membre fondateur du collectif français Material Paris, Iannis Rezgui poursuit son aventure solo en 2020. Ses morceaux attirent rapidement l'attention de plusieurs artistes de la scène électronique française, dont François X et Elise Massoni. Il développe alors un ADN sonore très particulier, résolument techno à la fois rapide et minimaliste, enveloppé de textures organiques. Après plusieurs sorties, notamment sur Maison Close, Coalition ou encore Matière Production, soutenu par Anetha et Nina Kraviz, l'artiste revient en 2024 avec un nouvel EP sur le label Al Gharib. 
Affinant son style à chaque release, Iannis Rezgui continue son parcours en se produisant sur des scènes majeures comme le Rex Club, le Virage, la Mess ou encore l’Alarma et partage l’affiche avec des artistes internationaux tels que JKS, Henning Baer, et David Löhlein.

A founding member of the French collective Material Paris, Iannis Rezgui pursued his solo adventure in 2020. I'm Dancing short

It's been quite a wait for new &ME material here on Keinemusik. But these two new cuts, adding to our catalogue number KM046, sure have been worth waiting for. The EP starts with The Rapture Pt.II and as the title already suggests, it coherently takes up where his last original material had left us, in a stirred state of sweet, harmony-kissed affection. Known as a virtuoso of sound-details, &ME lives up to that reputation, implementing fine synth-elements and temperately rattling percussions, all conjoined by shimmering layers and, of course, an ultimately heart-melting Piano improvisation that at some point will play along to the rhythm of its synthetic brother to a finale that will leave no crowd untouched.

"Solaris" on the flipside adds indeed a futuristic note to the arrangement, opening up with a broken beat and propelling claps. A cut that, as much as its predecessor, is relying on flow and organic shifts rather than forced and peaktime formatted gimmickry, adding a synth arpeggio, white noise, vocal chants and harmonies in a rather subtle way. Nevertheless, it unfolds a compelling strength to heat the dancefloor gradually through its playtime.

Picking up where they left off, Reclaim Your City draw first blood in 2020 with 'Liquid Shards' - a split 12" epic courtesy of Den Haag's TAPE co-founder Deniro and Brighton's new sensation Rene Wise. On the menu of this masterclass in no-bullshit techno that moves in between plural states of consciousness, the two producers harness a double pair of laser-accurate rollers that pack some serious punch, trimmed, shaped and polished for optimum impact on the dance floor. 

Taking the helm of the A-side, Deniro steps up with a duo of streamlined techno bullets that delve smack dab the cream of '90s atmospheric and dubbed-out tech territories. Whilst zoned out opener 'Shards' cracks the mirror into an infinity of glassy textured synth splinters and solar-powered sub-bass moves, sure to lift off any crowd through some intensive, stamina-testing deus-ex-machina, pared-down banger 'Static' lets out the playful bassy bounce and bleep-laden engineering do the talk for a straight out bone-crushing workout that quietly engulfs everything in its wake. 

Flip it over and here's Rene Wise running the hoodoo down in truly massive 4x4 sensei fashion. Pulling out a nasty cavalcade of intestinally disquieting 909 kicks out the deepest blue, alongside mazy networks of verbed-out drums and heavily altered synthetic samples, 'Liquid Dancer' sets the boiler to eleven from the Baltic to Hawaii, which is no good news say the oceanographers. Bringing up the rear to this quartet of steady shooting havoc wreakers, 'Juggler' is no ancillary DJ tool but a much apt and functional floor squasher in its own right. Just let the pressure rise, people lose their shit a bit and throw these into the melee as a memo of how good techno is when done with such sentient genius.
