Dj Shack originally came from the infamous underground Blackburn rave scene back in 1989. 
At the time of the musical underground up rise of electronic beats within the north of England, the resident DJs who played the Sett-End night Club in Blackburn, Lancashire became known as the first real underground temple of electronic cutting edge dance beats.
Those original DJ's came from different ethnic backgrounds with a unique understanding surrounding the underground music scene. The diverse mix of high-energy music moved forward and so began the journey of the infamous Acid house rave culture, this was to change the whole music and entertainment scene into something more powerful than anyone could have possibly imagined.

BPM Played at The Notorious 'Escape In The Park 2023' (Escape Festival), which is Arguably Wales's Biggest Rave Festival. Being on the Same Line Up as Some Of The Biggest Names In The Industry Like Judge Jules, Ben Hemsley, Marco Carola, David Rust.

Some other well known Artists which Brad has been very fortunate to support are the likes of; Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Ian Van Dahl, Kaos Brothers, Ian Redman (Ultrabeat), Lab4 & Many More 🙌

His Musical Journey has only just started. With House & Techno Being His Favourite. You Can Expect Him To Mix & Produce The Likes Of House, Techno, Hard Techno, Hard Trance, Tech House, Trance. To Name A Few.

BPM UK's Sound is heavily influenced from being brought up with Sound from the Start of the 20th Century, through to the 50's, 60's, 70's, especially 80's & 90's tunes around the house growing up from his Mother, Nan & Sisters. With the likes of Bob Marley, The Bay City Rollers, AC/DC, ABBA, Eminem & plenty of others to his More Modern Musical Influences like Alan Fitzpatrick, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Eats Everything, FJAAK, Faithless, Scooter, Avicii, Skrillex (the list goes on forever). 

From being born in 2000. He carefully Curates his sets with a blend of old & new. With a Love for all Music. But for them Old Skool Housey loop's to the Groovy Basslines & Shuffling Percussion. Hard Hitting Base, Carnival Drums, Bongos & Breakbeats especially. To the Dark Energy Sounds of Techno, 90's Rave Synths & Acid loops to the Unmatched Euphoricness of Trance. He try's to influence his sets as a mixture of Old & New but keeping you feeling alive on the dancefloor. To show Music has No Boundaries on when it was made &/or who listens. Tunes help you groove more easily. I 1st got into music at age 7 and I was the owner of Electro 2 on Tape, My 1st ever tape that wasn't my old man's Pet Sounds, Sargent Peppa's or whetever else I could listen to as much as possible. I like all different genes of music but Classic 80s Club tracks, Chicargo and Detroit were putting some amazing stuff out mid 80s too, then when us lot in the UK started doing the white lable thing and the tectonic shift that was Acid House & Rave and all that melarkie. Anyway... I hope you enjoy these mixes as much as I've enjoyed doing them.

Hi all,
A bit about me. My name is Phil Dewhurst. I was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire and now living in Gt Harwood (Hometown of Monroes) After being in love with music my whole life my Djing journey started in the mid 80's (Yes that's right I said 80's) when I was mixing with a single turntable and a tape deck. I used to listen to Electro, Hip House, Hip Hop & Acid House music (The old Breakdance movies were great)I bought my first set of 1210's back in 1988. I can say I loved every minute of playing on my decks. I lived through the Acid House scene. (Crazy times) illegal parties "every" weekend. The illegal parties (raves) ran from 1988-1991 in Blackburn near to where I'm from and then after they were banned it moved into the clubs and the super clubs. My love of music took me on to Djing house parties and small clubs local to where I live. I have to say my vinyl collection was pretty impressive as I'd been buying records from 1985 - 2000. I made the decision in 2004 to sell all my equipment and all my beloved vinyl (A very sad day indeed) The one thing I made sure of before selling was I got all my music backed up in digital format. Fast forward to 2020 I'm now the proud owner of my first controller the Denon DJ Prime 4.

Again I'm the proud owner of a pair of Technics 1210's.
