@lucy-blanshard takes control of our first mix in 2022 with some 90’s inspired house grooves, rolling baselines, bouncy electro and a hint of garage.

from starting off as a partygoer like many of us, lucy got around to teaching herself the basics of mixing around 4 years ago and has developed into an amazing selector. though, it was only in 2021 which saw the start of a series of guest mixes, eventually leading to gigs at some of sydney’s best parties including lost sundays, paradise club & finer things festival. more recently, she has also landed herself resident slots with oblique sydney and nomad radio - a community radio station where she hosts her own monthly show named 'flow'.

after listening in, you'll understand why some of her biggest music inspirations range from ethel, melody, charlotte, joe delon, laurine & cecilio, alec falconer, ben bracken (of course!) & truly madly.

After a short hiatus we’re finally back with the next instalment of our mix series. Stepping up to the plate for this one is an old friend of ours who definitely fits the theme of NorthSouth, it’s the most Northern East Londoner you’ll come across - Georgia! A long time favourite of ours on the dancefloor and OG Hackney Wick’er it gives us great pleasure to be inviting Georgia to join us and she comes with an hour and a half of hypnotic grooves for those hazy summer days!

Number 12 in our Mustard Mix Series is here thanks to London based brothers, and good friends of MHR, Will and Max, aka ‘Duowe’.

These boys are the force behind the ever growing label and party, @fraiserecords which they kicked off in 2019, and have since put out a number of records on the label, with the likes of Urulu, Baby Rollen and most notably the link up with their good mate, Picasso.

As well as a label, they also run their own nights and radio show, ‘Eclectic Blends’ on Voices Radio, which provides a slower soundtrack every 2nd Friday of the month!  

More recently the lads have landed themselves on none other than the man himself, Gene on Earth’s imprint, ‘Limousine Dream’ with a tried and tested EP with Picasso. 

With a handful of new music set to be released for the rest of this year, we can’t wait to hear what else is in store for these fellas. Anyway enough waff - we’ll let the music do the talking!

Having shelved the project momentarily a new alias has sprouted in the form of Liquid Earth. With countless bangers already under his belt Taylor is a core member of many taste making collectives, Butter Side Up, Kalahari Oyster Cult all benefit from his refined dancefloor focused style. Not staying in one place for too long but more than happy to revisit certain time periods in house music but with a revised vigour and wide eyed appreciation for the love that has gone into the original source material. Living in London, G.Gee is one of the brains and builders behind Turn The Screw - a London & Leeds based underground party series she runs alongside Jordan Frost. The pair started their party in post-pandemic 2021 to create a space for a community of like-minded ravers who share a passion for good music and good parties. They've since welcomed heavyweight party-starters like Reeshy, Youandewan and Felon5 to headline their shows.

For this episode of the pod, G.Gee provides just over an hour of dubbed out diggers-delight lusciousness from start to finish. It's like a warm hug on a brisk autumn evening, wrapped up in the most cosy track transitions and I'm super excited to share it with you :)
