BAUMB is on the way to Ozora 2025 with this "Progressively Seductive" set featuring a collection of old records, primarily from the 90s and early 00s that inspired my productions, along with a couple originals. A recent addition to the Neptune Discs roster, Baumb’s debut EP and forthcoming projects are a testament to their love of classic 90s progressive house, acid house, early trance, and rave-infused aesthetics. With multiple compilation appearances and solo EPs slated for 2025, Baumb continues to expand their sonic footprint, delivering music designed for both peak-time energy and deeper, introspective moments on the dancefloor. With a history rooted in the emotive realms of trip hop and ambient music, Baumb released a full-length LP under the Errata moniker before transitioning to high-energy club sounds. Their DJ sets weave driving rhythms and eclectic selections, effortlessly blending retro influences with a contemporary edge. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Baumb creates immersive musical journeys that bridge the golden era of dance music with a forward-thinking approach to sound.

 Showcasing the sound of AWHM over the passed 18 months, this DJ set is comprised of 100% self produced and collaborative productions, both released and unreleased. Born and raised away from the metropolitan environment, AWHM originated from the Australian capital of Canberra - before embarking on a permanent migration to Berlin in 2019 where he has embraced the opportunity to refine his sonic direction. A dedicated consumer and creator of trance music, AWHM’s production style draws clear influence from old school goa, psytrance, jungle breaks, and tekno, most easily recognised by his ability to combine driving basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and scattered percussions to transport audiences through uncharted psychedelic realms of fast trance music. Evolutionary by nature, he’s managed to leverage extensive experiences that led to a self-taught studio process which now stands out in one of the more niche corners of electronic music.

This mix by AYIM blends her own tracks with carefully selected tracks from artists who inspire her, showcasing a deep and immersive sound that reflects her current sonic direction. AYIM is a DJ and producer from Amsterdam, recognised for her hypnotic fusion of psy, techno, trance, and rich, atmospheric textures. As co-founder of KØLT, she plays a key role in shaping a forward-thinking and inclusive underground scene. Her sets, characterised by deep basslines, driving rhythms, and introspective energy, take listeners on immersive journeys that balance raw rave intensity with emotional depth. After playing at Säule (Berghain) and with a performance at MoDem Festival 2025, AYIM is steadily making her mark on the international stage.

AYIM | Techlab.bp Series Ep. 7 | 23/07/2025

This month’s set showcases a glimpse of Zenon’s past, present, and emerging sonic identity. I selected tunes from its early days in the 2000s, with the opening track by Noma representing the specific pantheon of labels and artists that inspired Sensient, the label’s founder, before Zenon’s first release and his own debut album.

There’s also plenty of current material, chosen with the hybrid techno influence as a key criterion — such as tracks by Sourone and Kliment. The emerging future, which has been materializing across different corners of the electronic music scene, is represented by Andy Garvey’s tune, blending perfectly with Cujorious’s track from 2006.

To top it off, there are some tracks from the core techno scene itself, represented by Kwartz and Bjarki, beautifully blended with other Zenon artists that showcase Zenon’s adaptability to heavier sounds — something I personally love to explore.

To close the set, I’ve included one of my all-time favorite tracks by Sensient, produced in 2007, mixed on top of Kwartz’s 2024 Enter the Zone — two tracks that sound like they were crafted from the same cloud of inspiration.
