Destiny is a piece made from electronic audio materials created on an analog modular synthesizer following simple processes on signal treatment and the choice of a restrict palette as an aesthetic constraint, while keeping both an overall organic expressivity and a slightly des-articulated quality at the edge of compositional agency.

Variations and antecedents of this piece have been performed live in various electronic music festivals and events. The definitive version is a part of Sisbiosis, a collaborative album put together with the artist and musician Ryoko Akama, released in 2022 on Erstwhile records (US).

I'm delighted to be back with you for this 3rd Bodañ show, where I have the honour of having @officiumofficium as my first guest !
In the next hour, you'll hear part of the Dj set he played at the Meta in Marseille on November the 23rd , specially recorded and shortened for Bodañ. 

Officium is the result of several years of exploration and transformation. Over time, the project has shaped and merged various materials and influences, eventually becoming a true perpetual movement, a quest that challenges labels and transcends genres. Each creation is part of this intimate and universal process: a collection of samples and sound research, Cut-Ups that take us deep into inner visions, states between dream and reality, and buried memories.
It was with Lazybones, released in April 2023 on the Teenage Menopause label, that Officium dropped his first solo album under this alias, with the collaboration of Catherine Danger.
To continue the journey, a remix compilation was just released in November 2024. This VA (Various Artists) offers a bold reimagining of Lazybones, the result of long discussions and genuine sharing with his friends and musical influences. The outcome: 18 tracks where each artist has reinterpreted the original pieces by revisiting, deconstructing, sanding, or transforming them in their own way. This collective project breathes new life into the album while staying true to its experimental spirit. A unique and captivating collective work.
