DJ/Producer/Saxophonist Zabi has been exploring the realms of electronic music for two decades, firstly spinning DnB and Breakbeat vinyl in Bristol and Bath UK, then producing Deep/Tech House beats, followed by a decade of living, organising and playing parties in Berlin and beyond.

Now nestled in the foothills of Bright, Australia, Zabi's sets span breakbeats, deep house, deep tech, disco, funk, techno and more, all delivered with live instruments, including soaring saxophone solos, deep woody clarinet tones and a variety of shakers and percussion, all played through reverb, delay, looper and poly octave generator effects pedals.

Although deep down the rabbit hole of electronic music, Zabi is influenced by years playing Saxophone in rock and jazz bands, now enjoying the benefits of both those worlds.
In his own words: "There is something extremely enjoyable in blowing big basslines out of a saxophone on a big rig."

Zabi is never happier than in the studio and is an avid appreciator of deep techy sounds layered with live instruments.

Since breaking onto the scene through his debut performance with Coco Poco Loco at Burning Seed in 2019, Hyasynth has showcased his unique talent for whimsical storytelling through dance music, with a dynamic signature sound spans across multiple sub-genres of house and techno, playing at iconic Melbourne venues including Revolver, Pawn & Co, Tramp Bar, MyAeon, Rubix Warehouse, and 24 Moons. 
 
His sets and productions focus on the interplay between light and dark, and traverses the spectrum from upbeat and uplifting through to dark and deeply melancholic, with plenty of heavy, hard edges, psychedelic sojourns, and twists and turns along the way. 
 
Never satisfied with linearity in music, Hyasynth delivers exciting, dynamic, and energetic full-course degustation meals in each and every set he plays, whilst ensuring energy and track selection matches and enhances the mood and environment of the moment.

Hyasynth also co-founded The Vision Collective with an aim to deliver conscious, intentional, and connected dance music events and experiences to the Melbourne community.
