The very first time I heard of Metta & Glyde was with their single Elixir almost 3 years back. since then we have strengthened our bond, growing a friendship, building Regenerate together, as well as dabbling in collaboration, which led to Storm, our FSOE release from 2019.  Now it is time to kickstart a passion project of ours together.  And we will launch Regenerate’s side-label, Surgikal, with our brand new collaborative single, The Unfamiliar.

We would say it tugs at your heart strings but we would be lying, it forgoes all that foreplay to instead tug even harder at your junk down below to bring you to absolute musical climax.  Sorry, not sorry.

This production process was such a proverbial tennis match of ideas, and the conglomeration of all of it is now ready to kick start the concept that is Surgikal.

As a versatile artist, Zach Zlov weaves intricate musical tapestries that captivate the mind and soul. His compositions encompass all that is loved in electronic music including techy vibes, pulsating basslines, and enchanting melodies, all with awe-inspiring atmospheres. Each track possesses the power to infiltrate the mind and evoke a natural high of ecstasy.  

Debuting in 2015, under the wing of Simon Patterson, Zach’s creations have garnered admiration from renowned artists such as John Askew, Greg Downey, Aly & Fila, Sean Tyas, and many others from around the globe. His music has graced legendary venues including Luminosity Festival, Avalon Hollywood, and the Ministry of Sound. His tracks also have been spotlighted in the beloved and iconic - A State of Trance.  

Zach’s prowess extends beyond the dancefloor by catching the attention of major labels and fellow producers. He has crafted exclusive pieces for the VII compilations curated by John Askew and Simon Patterson. In doing so, he has left an everlasting mark on the VII brand.
