MIX 2 - Not For Everybody (Dark Minimal Techno and Tech House)

Been feeling pretty inspired by Drum & Bass lately and it's been a few years since I have dug through that file. I used to play a monthly dnb/breaks night at Plush for Sub Ohm Sundays and I built up a pretty good collection that I completely forgot about. These were a small handful of some of my favorites, may do some more of these mixes in the future if the feedback is good. Hope you enjoy and I love you all, Thank you for always supporting me

A Savage Drum & Bass Mix

this mix is far from perfect. there are many cringe-worthy transitions and the flow could definitely be better in some parts. however, there are tons of fire transitions and even more dope beats. I’d say it’s a pretty good result for a beginner that didn’t even use headphones 😜



I wanted my first mix to encompass the entire entity of my motto #fuckgenres. throughout this mix you’ll hear a variety of dubstep, mid-tempo, drum and bass, future riddim, bass house, and some hella good vibes. this mix is special to me not because it’s only my first release as discookitten, but I also incorporated many songs that have been a huge musical inspiration to me. shout out to all of the producers/DJs that are makin’ it happen and showing that dreams truly can become your reality.

The biggest crowd I had the pleasure to spin for. I'm so proud of how it turned out. Everyone was having a great time on Sunday Funday at Electric Pines. So many heavy hitting tracks in this one. When I make mixes for the purpose of uploading them to Soundcloud, usually I do something a little different from what I would do in front of a crowd, so this mix is probably the first one I've shared that is a true representation of what you can expect if you see me play a festival. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. BPMs all over the map, hahaha, can't have just one.
