To take a 40 year musical journey and compress it into a one hour DJ mix from Studio projects.  Wirh Love From Above is how I play and where I pray.  Above.  It's an equal Celebration Of Life to all the loved ones & soldiers & friends I've lost as well as those who I may run into on a dancefloor this Saturday Night.

Whatever connects us all comes from the stars and I have flat-earther friends all around the globe.   The music is eternal and from where it all started when I was a teenager, my journey and/or life path has the same goals now as they did 40 years ago.   

That was to become a DJ who plays by his own standards and to find a signature style which plays underground music in a such a way.  

We live in a crazy world in 2024.  I've somehow survived being attacked by demons who don't believe in PLUR but decided they wanted to Rave anyway.  And it's become Spiritual Warfare which I find my peace through the music I produce, play & believe in.

Techno is my base, but House is within my history.  Electro & Breaks played a big part in this prior to rave culture in the 80's, and Hip Hop is something NYC in the 80's which made DJ Culture what it was.

So With Love From Above comes from Rising Above every single challenge which was meant to destroy me, and how I always managed to bounce back in the heat of the moment.

Fool’s Gold’s latest Artist Series collaboration is with New York’s own Snoeman. The mixed media artist's bright, playful lettering has been seen all around the city in recent years, from neighborhood bodegas and storefronts to galleries. This isn’t FG’s first time linking with Snoe — in 2013 the two collectives joined forces for a Smart Fools capsule and art show. 

The Fool’s Gold x Snoeman pieces are soundtracked by an exclusive mixtape by local legend DJ Soul, who crafted an ode to the Big Apple featuring ultra rare jams and unreleased demos by the likes of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas, as well as as classic party records by Kenny Dope and Armand Van Helden.
