Babylon Rising (2018)

This is another excerpt from the first half of a 5 hour mix I did in 2018 which follows on from Babylon Rising. The mixes uses influences from the Middle East and Africa to bring a slightly ethnic flavour to a familiar genre. The 5 hour mix would go on to get harder but in this excerpt we're still a little low tempo though you can feel it coming.

Babylon Burning (2018)

This is probably my favourite song I have made so far, I have been working on this one for quite a while, making sure it's perfect, it's got this sad vibe to it aswell, which I think is pretty good.

Pain

From Melbourne Australia, Nomadic has brought with him a different take on club control developed among the counter culture collectives of his home city while embracing the fresh sounds from around the world. 

Nomadic set about displaying prowess in both mainstream and underground nightspots, showing a duality and adaptability that is both unique and accessible. Backed by a fine record collection, and able control of the 1s and 2s, he has become a popular local fixture supplying the patrons of various clubs with inspired late night soundtracks and unmitigated fun from behind the mixer.

It was his wildly popular Nightvision podcast though where he has done the most damage. Alongside local stalwart Brett J, the two set about educating clubbers with their fresh take on music presentation, and in the process have drawn significant attention to the quality of local and international DJs.

Nomadic  is no stranger to the late night party which he has built on through his genuine love for music, technical proficiency at the mixer, and a dedication to the well being of the dancer. Like a man possessed, he drives the dance floor into the outer realms crossing house, tech, funk, deep, soul and minimal in a manner that would spook astronauts. 

He has supported some of the biggest names in the industry including Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Andy Ward (Soul Central), Florence + the Machine, Don Diablo, Marshall Jerfferson, Erick Morillo, Flight Facilities, Felix Da Housecat, Sharam Jey, Dave Seamen, SUBTRAKT, Joakim, ReBoot, Pigeon, Oliver $, Gramophonedzie and many more.

Nomadic has held residencies and played at some of Australia’s greatest venues including Alhambra Lounge, Barsoma, OneSIxOne, Cordova: Milk Bar, Prince of Whales, Q-Bar, Tramp, Circus, Famous, Art House, Chinese Laundry, Elsewhere, Sunbar, GPO, The Met, Monastery and Empire.

He has also graced some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Stereosonic, Future Music, Creamfields and Kiss My Grass
