Berlin-based artist and label project ASEC, centered around raw, yet hypnotic and dancefloor-oriented electronic music is our guest for podcast number 102. Not one to muscle in on the scene via paid-for media support and invasive ubiquity, unstoppable sound pirate Parrish Smith hacked his way into the game through the all-embracing scope and untamed punk energy of his productions and intrepid live performances, shuttling back and forth some of today’s most reputed imprints such as L.I.E.S., Dekmantel, Knekelhuis and Mind Records. Clocking in the series with an incendiary 2-hour long vinyl set full to the brim with sweatbox-tailored EBM epics, rampage-mode acid pumpers and further XTC inducing off-road divagations of his own concoction, Parrish pulls out the big guns and flicks on havoc on the fly.
