REFOCUS is Zahaan Khan, psytrance  artist originally from Kashmir, India. Deeply fascinated by psychedelic culture, he discovered a strong connection to psytrance, leading him to develop a keen ear for its hypnotic beats and sounds. Frequent trips to Goa from 2010 to 2013, while he lived in Pune, India, gave him a comprehensive understanding of the psytrance scene and its roots. In 2015, he pursued formal training in Electronic Music Production at ILM Academy in Gurgaon, New Delhi, where he was exposed to sound synthesis and learned the tools and technology of music production, allowing him to transform his ideas into sounds.

Under the project name REFOCUS, he has released music on prominent labels in the scene, including Digital Om, Techsafari Records, Ovnimoon Records, and Yellow Sunshine Label. The sound of REFOCUS is a unique blend of progressive and full-on psytrance, characterized by atmospheric layers and hypnotic leads, designed to provide listeners with a deep, high-energy dance experience.
