Hailing from the industrial hub of Osijek, Croatia and with 20 years of experience in the DJ booth, this installment of the podcast series is provided by Insolate, a true veteran of the croatian techno scene. It would seem unlikely that someone living so far off from the techno capitals of Europe could end up performing in the most renowned clubs the continent has to offer. Yet Insolate did just this, playing in venues like Berghain, Rex, Under Club and at many major festivals, as well as releasing her own tracks on esteemed labels such as Deeply Rooted, Singular and Modularz. Despite her success, Insolate always stayed true to her heritage and kept supporting the local scene that once supported her. Together with Volster, with whom she also founded the label Out of Place, Insolate started the TRAUM event series in her hometown of Osijek, further helping to nurture local talent. Her efforts were recognized in 2017, when she was awarded the title of "Croatia's ambassador overseas". The reason for her success lies in her uncompromising passion for the genre, which can be heard in every one of her sets. Enjoy this groovy and powerful journey!

Phyyx is a deejay born in the province of Almería. At the young age of 13, due to family ties, he had his first contact with music. As his age advanced, his interest in electronic music and the clubbing scene increased, during which time he acquired his first equipment and immersed himself fully in the most forceful aspects of Techno music. 

His first years in mixing were linked to hard groove. As he developed his technique on the turntables, he began to delve into a purer, classic and lower-rev techno, which has led him to be a multifaceted artist. Today Phyxx offers dynamic mixes accompanied by hard, hypnotic and forceful lines. He has released on labels such as Bineural Records, Mechanical Waves Records or ETHNIC MEETING among others.

Dutch DJ Locus Error is a fast-growing name in the Dutch techno community. Her recent and upcoming highlights include: Sysyphos (Berlin), Awakenings, Loveland, Intercell, Drift, Thuishaven, Rotterdam Rave, Soenda, Nachtcollege, BASIS and her residency for Planet Rose.

Her fascination with techno music arose as a raver herself. Dancing she felt how techno can be a dynamic process that takes a raver in hypnosis through the night. Fascinated by this feeling she took to DJing herself, understanding perfectly how the waves of the dancefloor form.

Her artistic journey started at a young age playing the cello as a solo performer and in many (classical)orchestras, learning musical theory at an institute in Belgium from which she
graduated after 10 years of studying. This knowledge about the swell and dynamics of (classical)music you can still hear in her well-crafted and musical sets.

Besides DJing, Locus Error is co-boss of BALANS record and events she runs together with Tripeo. She also took a great part in crafting the first DJ and producer student association in the Netherlands.
