Here is the full, live set from Winter SOLSTICE 2022!

It was cold outside, but we were cozy and warm inside DV8, dancing and dreaming the winter dream together.  A big thank you to everyone that came out— thank you for making the night what it was!  

And to those of you who live far away or couldn’t be there, please enjoy this set inspired by this particular moment in space and time.

This time Zakhorov has created a set with a more organic approach to the sweet delicacies of music from the African diaspora, with plenty of cool funky beats and electronic elements for your pleasure. A perfect invocation for the dormant spirits of the Spring breeze.

♫ About the artist: Zakhorov aka Fanni Zahár is a Budapest-born Berlin-based flutist, saxophone player, DJ and producer who is involved in countless musical projects across Europe, ranging from afrobeat and jazz to electronic music. Seeking to find ways to implement her instrumental play into diverse musical environments and the vast amount of experience with music projects such as Ábáse (DE), Deva (H), Joe Armon Jones (UK) and Pat Thomas (GH) to mention a few, she has put together a live set to freely delve into the depths of African-influenced bass and electronic music.
