attracted by the music since the age of 3, with a classical music background as a boy at the choir of riga dom cathedral,  quite, humble sometimes shy but with an nice positive attitude, markus is pursuing his dreams in playing, performing and creating songs. his surrounding and friends are all source of inspirations as well mental pains and heart breaks.

Annuar aka DJ An Isma: 
Since kicking off his Djing career in 2003 @ ChinaBlack, DJ An Isma has pushed full steam ahead with no signs of slowing down.
His love for music began at an early age and at just 13 years old, he was already playing riffs on his guitar. His musical knowledge and appreciation of an eclectic range of bands and artists gave him the skills necessary for his unique and versatile DJ sets.
Funk, Soul n Motown (AWB, Quincy, Barry, Stylistics Jackson 5, Stevie), Hip Hop (Pharcycle, NWA, Jurassic5... too many to even mention!), 80s n Northern Soul (Depeche Mode, New Order, Roses, Happy Mondays), 90's Industrial Rock n Dance Act groups such as (KMFDM, NIN, Orbital, Prodigy etc).

DJ An Isma understands how to roll a proper party; he can feel the scene, anticipate the mood of his clientele, identify with his crowd and so is able to conduct the atmosphere with his original, but always crowd-pleasing repertoire.
After 8 years of tearing up the dancefloors of Singapore (ChinaBlack, Momo, The Living Room, etc), it was 2010 that defined his career. Annuar was clearly getting recognized on the scene and was headhunted by the famous 'Stereolab' club (SG) to spin as their resident. In late 2011 'Stereolab' was re-branded 'RoyalRoom' / 'Mink' and the appointment of Annuar as the resident maestro has proven to be a top signing by the RoyalRoom management. RoyalRoom and Mink are now arguably Singapore's most happening and popular nightspot.

When it comes to dance music, he takes his people on a ride of flowing combinative styles of House, Deep, Soul, Funky, Tech, Electro, Prog n Techno - mixed with a Midas touch. The continuity is subtle, running, looping with blending complexities that only a true musicologist can conjure, and with this the crowd is hooked on His beat. Hell Yeah!

DJ An Isma has worked and collaborated with some great names in dance music; Guy Manoukian, Aaron Ross, Quintino, Born to Funk, Gina Star, Rosie Romero, Miss Nine, Stafford Bros, Russell Small (Freemasons), Danny Freakazoid, Mark Doyle, Boy George, Nick Terranova aka Starkillers, Olivier Ingrosso, Sean Brosnan, DJ Widenski, Iain Thompson, Mark Vedo, Random Soul, etc, to name but a few....

The natural talent of DJ An Isma is seriously impressive and his name is mos def one to watch out for.
