@undertalefangamer89: I was thinking of doing a video about this recently! But the short answer is that I mainly use panning and EQ to make room for things and make it feel full. For this track, I focused a lot more on making the mix sound dry, so I eliminated decay times and reverb on my instruments and just placed a subtle warm room reverb on the master. I use FL Studio and mostly default mixing plugins with a few exceptions.

This was the first SPC I've participated in, though I've submitted several samples to past SPCs..  I really enjoyed the samples in this one, my heart goes to "honk schrader" and the "hamburger song". I'm sure many other people share the same sentiment there. I don't think I used any effects in this one besides some delay lol

The winding maze of the Deepwood left them both a tangled mess!  So many dead-ends, so few leads... They were no closer to the whereabouts of the Perfect Tune, but they weren't discouraged.  Having their fill of greenery, they ventured north to the cave-ridden Badlands. It seems a society of amiable cave beasts that have made it their home. Maybe they know something about the Tune…?
