Jye Walsh (formally known as DJ JYZA) Started his career as a young up and coming DJ in 2008 when word spread of his knowledge and passion for music after filling in for a "no-show" at a local function at the age of 13 and surprisingly impressing a full house with his ability to cater for the crowd. in the following years he went on to build up a large fan base which subsequently got him gigs for such names as "Polly & Waz" (2011's "THE BLOCK" winners), Mike Sheehan (AFL presenter), Channel Nines "THE BLOCK" Rap-up party for 2011 & 2012 and many more. amongst proving himself as a mobile DJ he picked up some work for Channel nine in the filming of "THE BLOCK" as a sound recordist/camera assistant giving him an even broader and better understanding of sound with these achievements under his belt his local nightclub gave him the opportunity to DJ underage events in their club under the name "RETRO-ROOM" once a month. as a result of this a few weeks after he turned 18 (on the 16th of october) he was awarded a residency at the Railway-hotel Warragul (The Sporty/Platform 81) and within 2 weeks was given the opportunity to run and manage his own side room and events due to his ability to draw in a crowd and versatility with music. After opening and closing before and after DJ's such as "will sparks" "Azmac" "Someblonde DJ" "Orkestrated" and "Slice n Dice" he is ready to take on the melbourne club scene as a new up and coming DJ and producer
