Resides in Mellen Wi. always finds time to venture across the country and ignite dance floors with his incredible sound. DJ Jes One redefines the meaning of House with a funky fresh style and loads of turntabl-ist tricks. Never one to simply play a record, Jes One drops a cappella vocals over big beats, while blending, scratching, and chopping vinyl into one continuous collage of sound. Melting the sounds of funky house with bangin' techno,Electro an Old school keeps the dance floor movin' and groovin'! gained him great fame as a Midwest dominator. Jes has been an innovator for the Midwest dance scene for over 20 years. From humble beginnings in Rockford, (CHICAGO) Illinois in 1989, he quickly catapulted his career by djing nationwide and appearing on many radio stations both for underground radio and commercial radio. Nightclubs, festivals, and raves all became accustomed to his signature sound of groovin’ house and banging techno throughout the 90’s. During this time he opened one of the largest , longest and most well known record stores, The Groove Shop. The Groove Shop became a legend for being “the spot” for djs and producers to drop their mixtapes, showcase their latest releases, and network with industry ENDORSED BY SHURE RECORD NEEDLES which can be seen in URB , MIXER , DJ TIMES Magazine Jes has countless releases on his own and with the likes of Frankie Bones,ESP Woody McBride, Angel ALAINS , Josh Da Funky 1, MAZI, Alex Peace, Paul Anthony, REESE URBAN, Mystic Bill, Mark Del Gato, Tony Brown, J. Splat, Dj 7 up, and others. As the peak of records stores began to evolve forward, The Groove Shop’s in 2007, Relocating to Northern Wisconsin. Where He has continued producing tracks and performing. In my teens I started to listening to hip hop, but around 88'-89' I become fixated on house and hip-house. That led to the early 90's rave explosion and I attended many raves and parties and loved the culture. I  played my first rave party in 1995 (playing hardcore and was advertised as an interstate Dj!!)  that led to many club events & rave parties in some of the biggest venues around Sydney between 1995-2002 ( including the Superdome at homebush, Pavillion, Rooftop, Palladium, Icebox and numerous other pubs and clubs around Sydney, with the last 'official' party ever played being a 'Utopia' rave. These days I am a happily married father of three children ,but still get a mix and play in from time time and busy selling houses on a daily basis!
