Chad Mossholder is a sound artist working in art installations, film, music and video games.  His critically acclaimed and experimental electronic music project “Twine” has performed all over the world and has released six full length albums as well as numerous mini-albums, and EP’s on such labels as Hefty Records (Chicago), Bip-Hop Records (Marseille France) and Ghostly Records (Ann Arbor). His live audio/visual performances have attracted audiences in Europe, Japan and North America.

Chad’s current position as the Senior Sound Designer and Music Composer at Sony Online Entertainment has lead him to compose electronic/orchestral music for the highly successful game DC Universe Online (Play Station 3, PC).  Chad has also written music and designed sound for Xbox, PSP and iPhone games with titles including Star Wars Galaxies, Matrix Online, Ever Quest, Ever Quest II, Night Caster, Immobilite and Planet Side.

Open-minded, virtuosic in performance and aurally perceptive, Klangforum Wien – one of the internationally most renowned ensembles for contemporary music – devotes itself to the artistic interpretation and expansion of experiential space.

A performance of Klangforum Wien is an event in the best sense of the word; it offers a sensual experience, immediate and inescapable; the novelty in its music speaks, acts and beguiles.

Ever since it was founded by Beat Furrer in 1985, the ensemble – which, over the years, has received a great number of awards and distinctions – has written music history:
It has presented around 600 world premieres, it boasts an extensive discography of more than 90 releases, appearing at the most prestigious concert halls, opera venues and at major music festivals.

Klangforum Wien has its own annual concert series at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Since 2009, the musicians have been sharing their comprehensive mastery of playing techniques and forms of expression with a new generation of artists in the context of their collective professorship at the University of Music, Graz.

The repertoire choice and the ensemble’s intense understanding of the compositions contribute to diversity, and are matched by the most excellent and joyful execution of the music.

The Ensemble intercontemporain is a music ensemble of 31 soloists dedicated to the performance and promotion of music from the 20th and 21st centuries.
For almost 40 years, this permanent ensemble of highly professional musicians has been performing a demanding repertoire of orchestral music in all its diverse forms. Under the artistic direction of Matthias Pintscher  they are united by a shared passion for new music.
