Just a bunch of things I did on Famitracker anime-wise. Just shows what some anime music would sound like if it was on a nintendo entertainment system, Famicon system, Atari, whatever.
Basically, anime themes that have been chiptunified.

Lately I've included vocaloid songs that involve Famitracker too even if they're not really related to Japanese culture.

This game will forever hold a special place in my heart. 2021 has been a crazy year for me man. I never expected myself to keep making music but what can I say chiptune is so damn fun. Happy New Year's everyone.

Chrono Trigger - Chrono Trigger [2A03+VRC6+N163]

I used to be kind of indifferent to the this version of Tengu Man's theme, but after I played through the Sega Saturn version of Mega Man 8 recently, it kinda grew on me. 

Mostly I'm curious why they gave him a different theme at all?

I wrote this one with absolutely no sort of plan, which is why it shifts gears halfway through the song. Some inspiration was taken from Vikare during that section.

I've got to fix those silly clap-clap snares but I can't get them to seem louder without making them sound that way and the DPCM is too soft with the snare example files I've got (I don't have the .wav files to enhance).

I also accidentally fked up something in the second half of the introduction (second pattern line) noise channel for the instrument volume and pattern so it doesn't sound identicle as the first version uploaded and isn't as awesome. I gotta fix that, but later :1

2a03: Did not use DPCM, minimal drumming effort.
VRC6: Mimal sawtooth, mainly used for extra bass effect to fill in the space in ways the triangle wasn't quite suitable.

I delayed this a bit too long but that's usual of me. I was in Indonesia and did a bit so the day I came back I decided to finish it off since I only had one more bar left. There's probably a few weird sounding areas, if I fix them I'll just re-upload and discard old version as usual.

Boss' name is Muffet it seems.

Napstablook's ghost theme is re-used in the Spider theme. Apparently people call it spider dance, and I even mistakenly called it spider dance knowing that the .ogg was only called spider, and everywhere else they call it spider dance so I guess it's semi-officially now called spider dance then.

Another throwback this time from 2008, this was originally written for an album I wanted to do called trinity, but I abandoned the album and it got released on a iimusic compilation called "heartcode" instead.

so i got the title screen samples from the flintstones nes game

I took inspiration from the unused version of this song in the Game Gear version of Sonic 1 and gave the song a more energetic beat. I personally prefer the Game Gear version of Marble Zone's BGM to the Genesis version.

The instruments i used are also straight from the Flying Battery Act 1 cover i did a while back, so that's a thing, i guess.
