Nacido en Buenos Aires y con más de 10 años de experiencia en la escena, la música de Chico Fadelli se caracteriza por sonidos minimalistas llegando a lo más profundo del minimal techno, combinando lo nuevo con lo viejo, dejando su marca plasmada de sonidos oscuros e hipnóticos.

Su música fue editada en sellos como Tzinah Records, Musica Lunar, WallMapu Records, Salomon Recordings, Mirifique music, entre otros.

En el año 2013 el amor por la música lo llevó a crear WallMapu, una plataforma que promueve el arte y la pasión por la calidad y no la cantidad, con el propósito de buscar nuevas experiencias mostrando sonidos del underground en la escena de Buenos Aires. Dubtil, Sepp, Cesar Merveille, Vinyl Speed Adjust, Nima Gorji, Anthea, Oshana, Lowris, Lamache... son solo algunos de los nombres internacionales que han pasado por la cabina de WallMapu.

For this week’s podcast, Petit Batou curated a set consisting of an hour of his finest track selection. The all-round artist is not only a DJ, but also a producer, big-time vinyl collector, and label owner. On his label Stamp Records, he currently has seven vinyl releases with tracks of both himself and many others such as Amin Ravelle, Silat Beksi, Alan Castro and Piktor. Enough great material, which we encourage you to check out as well. Besides his own label, his releases are also listed on labels like Kanja Records, 324 Records, and Blind Vision Records. Last but not least, he shared the bill with Arapu, Fumiya Tanaka, Traumer and many more.
 
As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to invite him to our Implicit Mind Cast. The set he has come up with embodies the deep tones with melodic textures and subtle grooves. It allows the listener to drift away from his usual thoughts and to get dragged into Petit Batou’s created atmosphere. Continuing its streak of red hot releases, Modeight Records now shines a light on an exciting new talent in Icelandic artist Ali Demir. Injecting a funky, infectious energy into 3 original compositions, backed up by a sublime remix from label head Silat Beksi himself. The young artist beguiles the listener with his raw and rollicking flow. From the uber fun, head bobbing bassline jam on ‘Fluent Whistler’, to the slick electronic riffs of Kumpas, and the deep, sub sonic wiggle of ‘Blackout’, Ali Demir carves out a sophisticated and immensely enjoyable sonic journey. 
A breakout release for an artist who’s certainly be one to watch in future.

James Reid is a British DJ, producer, and record label owner who has spent the last 9 years living and playing in Ibiza as a resident DJ. His career started in 1998 in his hometown of Harrogate, which then led him to work summer seasons in Ibiza from 2003, where he learned his craft as a resident DJ in some of the island’s leading music venues. 
 
James’ musical inspirations originate from the sound of the early 2000s in the US West Coast. This dubby percussive genre leads him to find the underground sounds of France and Romania, which now best represent his style and direction. In James’ sets, an infectious groove is always present with his stripped back minimal sound. 
 
Having lived in Ibiza full time since 2011, James had played in Space Ibiza, shared decks with Carl Cox, performed 3 consecutive years in Sydney at the Space Ibiza on Tour, and annual appearances at Australia’s premier electronic music brand S.A.S.H. 
 
As a music producer, he has released on labels including Zingiber Audio, Whostryo, Plus Plus, and Natural Rhythm. In 2018, he started his vinyl-only record label Sonet Music. Now, he is based in England and focusing full time on his music and his record label.
