Stefan Nicu aka Sublee, has long been heralded as one of Romania’s finest DJs. And in a country that’s become known the world over for its house and techno scene, that of course is no mean feat. Arguably at the busiest stage of his career right now, the Density Records boss is chatting to us off the back of a seriously busy summer, with gigs in Italy, Paris, Bucharest and many more behind him. Heavily influenced early in his career by international DJs such as Zip and Ricardo Villalobos, these days it’s Sublee himself who’s influencing an entire new generation. We’re also incredibly excited to announce that he’s mixed Nightclubber 188, which showcases a tantalising insight into his DJing prowess. Saf Born and raised in London has proved himself to be a prominent figure in the East London House scene. Saf was introduced to the minimal techno sound and found inspiration from underground parties such as Art Of Dark back in 2012. Working his way up to becoming a regular track selector at Capitals very own Paravibe who hold some of London's most Obscure and prolific underground parties, he has been privileged to play alongside some of the finest in the scene such as Herck, Lumieux, Kubrick and Realgang.
Saf brings his unique flair and flavoursome perception of the genre every time, with his ability to naturally enchant the crowds with rolling groovy basslines and unsuspecting vocals within his highly energetic style.

Triptil - Wasteland

For the 10th installment of GH Podcast, Arapu crafted a collection of audible experiences, a clever mix that deploys a variety of textures and subgenres, laced with a fine array of eclectic baselines. Arapu’s style involves a deep connection with his records, one that lets him join the dots throughout music to create a fluid, mesmerising journey for the listener. Technical proficiency is present and vital but only part of the picture. It’s as groovy as you’d expect from him to be; getting tied together nicely without sacrificing any effectiveness.  

During the mix, the breakdowns always seem to end at a perfect moment, notching up with energy each time the blunt kick returns. The sporadically surfacing vocals — ethereal and evocative — do the rest of the work throughout the two hours of recording.
