NOMADIC AND ELECTRONIC MUSICIAN
Flutist, DJ, pianist, singer, player of world instruments, synths and machines, Marine weaves links between acoustic and digital sounds. She offers her experiences under the pseudonyms Cat’s Eyes (DJ / Electro World), Lia Moon (House Music), Marine Thibault (Instrumentalist / composer) and her duet with singer Charlotte Savary SEYES.

Born in the legendary recording studio "Le Château d´Hérouville", she learned the piano with her mother, musician Laurence Vanay, folk singer and avant-garde. Playing the spaceship with the hardware (TR808, Mini-Moog 700, Juno 60, DX7, K2000, Groove box ...) and the software of the time (From Pro 24 to Ableton Live), she started writing songs as a child. on the piano, and making electronic music, naturally following the technological and stylistic evolutions of hip hop, techno, house, ambient, experimental, and their crossbreeding movements.

After a lot of freedom of improvisation and composition, she joined the Bordeaux conservatory, obtained the prize for classical flute, diploma for professor and in parallel a master of audiovisual production. She studied during the week and played at weekends in “underground” venues under the nickname Cat’s Eyes.

His compositions were then enriched by contact with prestigious musicians and thanks to numerous trips. Under the nickname Cat’s Eyes, she released “Organic Point of view” (2005), in 2013 “Nomade” (RFI Editions / Musicast), in 2016 “A dream in red Mansions” (EMME / Musicast). In 2018, she created with Charlotte Savary the electro female duo SEYES with the title “Beauty Dies”. She released under the name Djette Lia Moon the EP "Housewife" with deep house and afro house influences.

Flautist, she has been accompanying Wax Tailor since 2007 and has performed with Alpha Blondy, Manu Dibango, Gasandji, Odezenne, Fakear, David Walters, Dj Click, UHT °, ASM, Jukebox Champions, Mattic, Hilaire Penda, Yarah Bravo, Ezra, United Fools , Java Rwan, Tony Allen, Bob Sinclar, Ariel Wizman, Freedejay, Merakazhan, Hypoccampe Fou Etc.

Composer, she produced the soundtrack of the documentary films of Patrick Profit (Atmosphere Production) for France Television: “Itinerary of an Iban family”, “Itinerary of a Badjo family”, “Itinerary of a Warao family” and the credits from the mini-series “Un monde, des femmes” on ARTE. His music is regularly used in episodes of "Echappées Belles" on France 5, in collaboration with Music & Musiques.
