ZEGOTHA’s passion for psychedelic trance dates back to around 2002 but his active involvement only started a bit later as he was still drumming in a hardcore band at the time. He has always been fascinated by darker, more twisted, faster sounds of psy music. His first gig was in 2004, followed by more and more invites to play at smaller, more private events, where he loves playing ever since. In 2006 he started producing music and also joined the Phazy M’ulator darkpsy project. After a number of gigs and track releases on international labels, this period ended in 2008 but he has continued making music: more recently co-creating with his friends, Nasgul, Madrabit, Acid Goblin.
Since the Phazy M’ulator split, he is mainly focused on playing DJ sets, many times with his friend Monga at parties in his home country and several times as a solo act around Europe: at Slovakian festivals, in Belgrade as a returning guest of the Planet Psychedleic party series, to name a few. He regularly performs at DarkAngels Gatherings, has shared the stage with famous international artists at Twisted Tower events, is part of the Psychotria Records and member of the ‘Budapest in the Dark’ crew. He is present on the lineups of festivals such as Psyweekend, Chillweekend, 4.49 Festival, Inner Waves, X-Files Camp, MAJOR Festival. Since 2014 he is also a returning artist on the O.Z.O.R.A. stages, last time playing before Fungus Funk. More recently his passions are concentrated on psytrance, psychedelic and hypnotic techno, but he also loves playing darkprog – zenonesque and darkpsy sets and is looking forward to the many gigs at home and abroad you can hear him performing at in the near future.

The Brahmasutra is one of three most important texts in Vedanta along with the Principal Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. It is also known as the Vedanta Sutra, deriving this name from Vedanta which literally means the “final aim of the Vedas”. Other names for Brahma Sutra is Sariraka Sutra, wherein Sariraka means “that which lives in the body (Sarira), or the Self, Soul”, and Bhikshu-sutra, which literally means “Sutras for monks or mendicants”.
The main aim of Brahmasutra Records is to derive the most important and upcoming talents in respect to Psytrance and Chill out music. The record label will emphasize more on innovative sounds rather than patronizing something which already exists thereby infusing a new trend of melodies and crunchy basslines. The motive of this record label is not to earn money but to help, support, promote the love and passion of talented producers and artists and giving them the opportunity to gain more experience at the same time.

Szabolcs Kerekes as known as Zegotha was born in 1982. Currently he lives in Budapest, Hungary. Since the mid 2000s he has been a determining representative of the hungarian darkpsy scene. Beside darkpsy, he made a name for himself also in styles like downtempo, zenonesque, and techno and performs at national as well as foreign festivals. In recent times he is a soulful cultivator of a more twisted nightpsy stream. He performs persistently at 147 – 153bpm.

Szabolcs “Zegotha” Kerekes is a Hungary born producer currently living in Budapest. His passion for psychedelic trance dates back to around 2002. As a drummer for hardcore bands at the time, it wasn’t until later that he became actively involved in the scene, fascinated by the darker, faster and more twisted sounds of psychedelic music. After his first gig in 2004, he received more and more invites to perform at smaller and more private events which provided great experiences.

Fast forward to 2006, he started producing his own music, becoming a part of the dark psy collaborative project “Phazy M’ulator”. Following the unfortunate disbandment of the project in 2008, Szabolcs has continued to be a determining representative of the Hungarian psychedelic trance scene, making a name for himself internationally and nationally in the zenonesque and psychedelic techno scenes.
More recently, Szabi has become a soulful cultivator of a more twisted and blasting night psytrance style with, performing consistently at 148 – 154bpm.
