Hi, I’m SugarSynth!

Crafting sounds gives voice to the parts of my mind that are otherwise left on mute. 💜 I create electronic tracks that blur the line between melody, malfunction, retro vibes and heavy bass; ruthlessly using whatever tools I need to bring my vision to life. My workflow is unique: I write lyrics, record sounds, mix them, and produce melodies, I then use the most modern software and tools to sculpt, optimize, polish and create unique sounds in great quality. My vocals are heavily modified. Every sound I shape is a way to connect, to make the invisible feel a little more real.

Alana McFarlane, born in Vancouver, Canada, is a visual and sound artist, performer and writer.

Dad, IT specialist, Gamer, Hobby-DJ, mainly House.
Started DJing in 1997 but paused for nearly 20 years. Getting in love with my old hobby again.
Every mix is done in one session. No editing. It is what it is. Mistakes can happen, just honest love to the music. Hopefully some of you will have a good time with my mixes.

DJing is my favourite hobby. I'm so happy when I discover a new track which gets me goosebumps. I love to listen to new tracks and ultimately, creating a mix which I, and maybe you, like.
