Binary Algorithms is Andrés Ávila, founder of Furatena and mastermind behind Neo-Tunja concept who describes himself as a Transhumanist. As both a DJ and producer, he works on futuristic Detroit Electro, Ambient and Breaks, usually preferring versatility over generic patterns and sounds. His productions and remixes have been playlisted by Beatport, EPM Music, Juno and multiple other electronic music-related figures. These releases have been heard in sets by a diverse list of DJs such as False Persona, Cyphon, Regal86, DJ Simlocked, Bunny Tsukino, and Aeondelit.

PREMIERE : Binary Algorithms - Mestizaje Infinito

The collaboration between Andres Ávila (Binary Algorithms) and Raven Mazique (Zvrra) appeared to be predestined to yield exceptional music. Emerging from a production partnership deeply rooted upon their love for more avant-garde dance sounds, the 'Dissolved Cycles EP' introduces Furatena's first approach with Techno.

Inspired in part by contemporary warfare and RPG shooters, "Cycle A" sits, on top of a double kickdrum, a slow and dark-dub display with unique synthesized visions; A fuller club cut, "Cycle B" floats into spacious and – at times – acidic zones while groovy vocals and ominous pads guide the listener through a hypnotic sonic tunnel. The EP closes with the minimalist and densely frenetic "Cycle C," which features Raven and Andrés high-hand at designing such labyrinthine structures.

"Dissolved Cycles EP" expands on Binary Algorithms, Zvrra and Furatena sonic boundaries.

Over the past 4 years Andrés Ávila has explored and found himself comfortable in many genres of music, ranging from electro beats to ambient electronics and hypnotic techno. This particular release offers four absurdly minimalistic but functional productions, all tracks are a demonstration of sleeky and bouncy dub techno tracks which don't accomplish much other than looping their dubby chord progressions over groovy hi-hats patterns, tensioning pads and a booming kick drum.

Ávila returns to Furatena with a new Binary Algorithms record – “Registers” – which continues the evolution of his sound; You get contemplative moments with almost weightless layers of sound that get used like melodies or chords, rotating with condensed, intensified and snappy snatches.
