@gewissheit ‘Stripped’ quickly escalates from the absence of rhythm to the absence of space, suffocating the ears with rattling and furious drums sliding over the noisy lead, whilst LFO and audio panning generate a vertiginous feeling.

The tracks on TEARDROPS express our sentiments surrounding Black life, death, hypervisibility and refusal as we confront the reality that the club—like the rest of this world—can be a vulnerable space. TEARDROPS comes out of years experimenting with our hybrid DJ/live PA style of performing. Some of the songs are straight-to-tape recordings, others are edits we use in those same sets and one is an original track inspired directly by our experiences in the club.
