As a thank you for a wonderful Gaggalacka festival at the end of last summer, here comes the next musical journey for you: A Purple Playground. It consists of eleven tracks bringing you the feeling of the festival sound from noon until night plus three marvelous downbeat tracks as a soft and emotional closing. Many of the involved artists have already played at previous Gaggalacka parties and some promising new names have been chosen for this compilation. Enjoy this journey and hope to see you all again when the next Gaggalacka calls from the 5th to the 7th of September, 2014. Mumijo, a Sanskrit word for natures blessing known to us as shilajit. This mineral rich substance oozes from the mountains of the Himalayas. A healing magic given to those seeking health and well being. We were honored to say yes to collaborating with Pürblack who asked if we would imbue prayer into this special new product called ‘White Rabbit’; Shilajit infused with herbal and mineral medicines keyed to open gateways of healing for us all.
In a world in need of nature’s blessing more now than ever, it was an honor to sit and dedicate this album to the earth and her cures. We sing the songs of remembrance to re unite our minds with the body to open the doors of awakening.

The creation of this album was approached in a different way from our previous works. The backbone of the album was made with an orchestra of analog and digital hardware drum machines and synthesizers, combined with percussion and instruments in a live studio jam.

Unusual and alternative sounds, experimentation in rhythm and melodic alterations: all of this is The Flying Mars project. Mario Engel, hailing from the green valleys in the middle of the Swiss Alps, was always in contact with different genres and had a good ear for many kinds of music. Now, with his “The Flying Mars” project he wants to channel all of his auditory and composing experiences into a mind-bending mix of creativity, giving his contribution to the already variegated world of electronic music.

The Flying Mars combines Psy-Dub, Ambient, Psy-Chill, as well as Drum & Bass and Psy-Trance, with flowing rhythms and deep bass lines. Through variations, mixing, tests and sonic atom splitting, The Flying Mars’ project strives to simultaneously stimulate mind, body and soul.
