From its delicate opening chord to its cacophonous finale, ‘Glory’ is a journey through the idea of connection. 

Far from its genesis in the serene farmlands of NSW, ‘Glory’ was developed by the band in their studio in Sydney, Australia. Enlisting the help of producer and recording engineer Jack Prest, Broken Mountain went into Studios 301 to record, shortly before the iconic studio complex moved premises. The ‘Glory’ session was one of the last recordings to be made in the legendary Studio A live room.

The band is comprised of Andrew Bruce (The Possé, Wallace, New Venusians, Okenyo, Sampa The Great, Ngaiire) on keys and vocals, drummer and producer Nicholas Meredith (E^ST,  Anatole, Dreller, Kcin, Fiction Writer, Jesse Redwing, Guineafowl), and bass and keys player Brendan Clark (Jesse Redwing, Fiction Writer, Oliver Thorpe, Air land and sea).

"I wrote ‘Glory’ after a trip to Bellingen in the winter,” says Bruce. “I was there with some friends and we drove to a place called the Promised Land, next to the Never Never River. The area is beautiful and has a special energy. It was there that I wrote the poem 'Glory' which formed the basis of the song as we know it today.”

“It's about reflecting on an innate connection towards nature. It's about pausing and immersing yourself in your environment." 

Broken Mountain are a subtle force. Despite each individual’s impressive talents the trio have formed an extremely rare, collaborative bond. Taken from the group’s debut release, ‘Glory’ is a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come. .

Zen Robotic is the music of Geri O'Leary, a gender non conformist singer/songwriter who produces electronic music.

Lyrics that are deep, emotive and thought provoking play an integral role in the Zen Robotic repertoire. The vocal and keyboard driven music is accompanied by Drums, Bass and FX that are played through Ableton Live.

Geri has been labelled a dark David Bowie and her music has drawn comparisons with Depeche Mode, New Order and Moby.
