This song means so much to me it is hard to explain, with that said it is I am honored to share it with you all in celebration of the Solstice. 

While I love musical collaborations, nothing can capture the intent of my deepest expression like writing and producing an entire song all on my own. I am happy to say that "LOVE STORM" is one of those songs. Unfortunately I do not presently make enough money from music to give it enough time to produce many of my own tracks, this is something that will change as time goes on, but for now I am just grateful that I can share this track with you.

Regarding "Love Storm" -
Love is not always Gentle, Love can be fierce like a raging river or thunderstorm and true love burns with the scorching overwhelm of a supernova, the more you harness it however the more gentle it feels. 

The idea that love must always be gentle is a denial of the universes primal power. The truth is that It is both gentle and Raging simultaneously.  Harnessing this paradoxical balance of poles and expressing your LOVE STORM  is much different than letting your untamed primal urges whip you around wildly. 

Now is time for us to embrace this primal essence and steer this storm with a primordial distillation of vigorous grace.   

Without the the embrace natures primal force we cut ourselves off from the full spectrum of our power. Guardians cannot be a guardians unless they are also warriors.

What's up family.

I don’t know about all of you… 
But I am feeling inspired right now!

It feels like I’ve been sitting on a near infinite wellspring of artistic and creative energy.  So much so that I just gotta do something with it. So, I am.

I’m going to make music.

More specifically, I’m going to record an album, one track at a time, and release it in real time.    This track is the first track in that series of releases. {Credit to MP Beats on the track.}

For the next 16 days, I’m going to record, mix, and release a new song every other day, such that by the end of this month I will have a brand new album of music.

Why am I doing this?

Because music is awesome. And I am a musician. A rapper to be more specific.

Or at least, I say I am, haha.   But the truth is, that even though I feel like I am constantly creating new music, I’ve been in a bit of an artistic rut.

Too much of my my time, money, and artistic energy is going into the processes of coordinating with mixing and mastering engineers, listening to mixes again and again, working with graphic designers, making beats, etc.

Now, don’t get me wrong, these things are important! But the truth is, I’m impatient. While I have A LOT of good things on the way, there is a part of me that just wants to give you all something to hear right NOW.

I’m ready, willing, and present to do the damn thing I’m here to do, which is not only to create music, but to share what I have created with the world, so that it can be received and cherished.

I want to inspire and move you with music. In order to do that though, I have to put it out there.

I want you to hear what I make. I want you to hear what I make as if I am a small child who just wants to show you the painting I made at school today, yes. A part of me wants to be seen and appreciated for the beauty I create.

But I also want you to hear the music I am making FOR YOU.   

Because I believe the music I make has VALUE to offer the world. Because I believe music can actually help you, heal you, uplift you, inspire you, rekindle something inside of you, or stoke that flame which is already burning brightly.

So, it goes like this.   I responded to a call from the universe. I bought a mixtape of beats from a producer online (at an incredibly reasonable price, I might add) and I am about to let loose on it. I’m about to paint my heart out.

I am going to do my best to bring you a polished product, yes, but I will also be allowing myself to fully disregard the over analytical inner critic that so often sabotages my creative nature. I am going to allow myself to express myself in an inhabited fashion, and share it with you all in its rawest most pure form.

So, if you love me, if you love music, if you love the unfolding of the artistic process, then come on this journey with me. Listen to what I put out there in the coming two weeks.

Like it. Engage with it. Share it with somebody you love. And, if you don’t like it, that’s cool too.

I can’t expect to hit a home run every time. I accept that what I make may not be medicine for everyone out there.

Release Notes (Sonic Alchemy)

Sonic Alchemy Records is proud to present “Raise the Djed EP” A powerful and emotive work from Patrick Haize. Patrick, otherwise known for his inspirational youtube channel, brings forth a series of  messages for the conscious collective that are both timely and timeless. His deep reverence and sacred insights create a profoundly enlightening offering for those ready to experience his unique expression. 

Raise the Djed EP offers five multidimensional access points in to the realm of the immortal. Opening with the EP title track, we are greeted with “ You can live forever…”; a reminder that immortality is not inherent but rather it is earned… and this beautiful process of earning our immortality is at the core of our life’s purpose. With its Enchanting melodies and mysterious essences, this track connects us to our divine cosmic heritage and sets the scene for the next chapter in the piece:

“True You” a collaborative offering featuring Momentolgy and DJ Taz Rashid. Here we find ourselves floating down a celestial river to re-discover the connection point to our authentic selves. As the cosmic rhythms and catalyzing words shake the dust of illusions from our minds we uncover our unique piece to the earthly puzzle. “There’s only one You, there’s only one Me, there’s only one Us, there’s only one We”.

"Love Storm", the third track, is our second opportunity to hear the solo production skills on the release from Patrick. This track embodies an ancient wisdom expressed by Patrick as  “Love is not always gentle, love can be fierce like a raging river or thunderstorm and true love burns with the scorching overwhelm of a supernova, the more you harness it however the more gentle it feels but the idea that love must always be gentle is a denial of the universes primal power. The truth is that It is both gentle and raging simultaneously.”  This track, with its metamorphic progression and potent ferocity encourages us to “Embrace the Storm” of Love and express our ferocious beauty. 

Track four offers a beautiful recount of connecting to our multidimensional nature, ‘bilocational” is an abstract medley of linguistic colors that trace the silhouette of cosmic fractality. The animated verses and warm choruses deliver a truly psychedelic word sculpture expressed with a polished eloquence that is unique to Patrick Haize.  

To round out this journey, Patrick and Momentology offer an incredibly emotive story of Patrick’s own trials with death and the inspiration and passion that ensued from his choice to live. Here we are taken on a dramatic journey through his struggle with acceptance of a fate unknown, and the choice between giving up or devoting himself to life. This beautiful expression of a universal story tugs heavily at the heart of the listener imbuing them with inspiration and gratitude for the under appreciated aspects of this human existence. 

Sonic Alchemy Records is in awe of the power and potential of this release. Whilst writing these notes, we’ve been overwhelmed with the whole range of emotion offered by Patrick Haize. For each and every track, we’ve been momentarily frozen with goosebumps, and the intention behind this release carries such a depth of passion that our hearts open by simply being in its presence.
