Just a few weeks ago we have discovered this incredible Swedish singer on Soundcloud. When we listened to her song „Higher“ we fell in love with the steady rhythm pulsating in the background. Cajsa’s voice is strong, smooth and easy on the ear. The captivating lyrics left us charmed and incapable of resisting to do a remix. Raag Bhairavi (Hindi: भैरबी) (Urdu: بھیرویں‎) is a Hindustani Classical heptatonic (Sampurna) Raag of Bhairavi Thaat. Traditionally it is a morning raga. In modern times, at least in Khyal Gayaki, it is usually performed as the concluding (finale) piece in concerts. It is the defining raga of its own Thaat.
Carnatic music has a Bhairavi raga which is quite different from the Hindustani raga.
Hanumatodi in Carnatic music has the same scale as the Bhairavi in Hindustani music.

Here is a beautiful new tune which came into being quite spontaneously like a flash of noetic lightning in the wake of some beautifully serene experiences in Seattle and the Cascade mountains.

It was a lot of fun and a real honor to feature vocal contributions from my friends Theo and Amma (Entheo - https://soundcloud.com/entheo), as well as Theo's guitar and a few percussive samples from my friend Jules O'Keefe.

I haven't given out a new free track in a while, and I think this is a breakthrough and a new direction for me, so I am going out on a limb and allowing this tune to spread how it may, in good faith that it will touch as many lives as possible.
