Melohalo is a musical duo made up of multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters Amanda Joan & Nathan BeardFight. They bend genres with a tough emotional sound. They cultivate mellow and powerful undertones supported by haunted sultry vocals. They journey through genres like pop, rock and trip-hop maintaining an electronic edge.  Emotionally driven content with reminiscent sounds of Portishead, Massive Attack, and Metric. Melohalo has a vulnerable edge similar to Billie Eilish supported by power, not unlike Florence + the Machine.

Started in Vancouver 2007, the 7 members of SHAHdjs came together with a unified love for drum and bass. Leaning away from the hardest edge of the genre,  and flexing a full spectrum coverage, expanding into Dubstep, Grime, Footwork, Techno and more, they have been a staple in Vancouver’s underground, playing warehouses, afterhours, clubs, and nearly every venue that has come (and gone) over time, as well as festivals like Bass Coast, Shambhala, Wicked Woods and more. 
Be it Levrige (J.F. Killah + Erski), Willisist, Vasho, Myles Away, Kir Mokum, or Decibel Point, you can trust in top tier mixing, peak selections, positive vibes, and the best of times from start to finish

8 years old, 1987,  joined the Acid House revolution at Letchworth Leisure Center, Herts, at a 2.00-6.00 pm roller disco. Always wanted to be in a rock band. Has been making music on computers since 1992, starting with C-Lab Notator(serial number 00038), and a korg M1.

Logic Support 2002-2005. Apple Logic Pro Evangalist and Demonstrator 2006-2009. Freelance DAW consultant, programmer and engineer 2002-2013.

Longtime DJ, home studio owner and dreamer.
