For this second release Soleil Rouge focuses its attention on Jonnnah, one of the key artists since the creation of the project. After a versatile first release on Worst, the artist continues his creative process in the same line. The sequence of atmospheres and landscapes on this album was conceived as a journey into the psyche, more specifically as an analysis of the depressive state and the healing process. Jonnnah recreates familiar feelings and memories and writes an abstract story to allow the listener to interpret. 

"Terra Incognita" introduces us through a phase of doubt and leads to a loss of orientation, then the feeling of anxiety is explored before arriving at "Sounds of Silence" where energies are transformed, the following landscapes allow a slow reconstruction to close this metaphorical journey with "Enter Paradise". “Poppy's Star” was co-produced with French artist Tryphème, whose work was a source of inspiration in the creation of Jonnnah's universe. The fusion of their sound results in a sentimental 80’s pop atmosphere, that is characterized by heavenly sounding delay processing as well as the melancholic voice of Trypheme. Throughout the quarantine, the artist and his father (also a musician) set up a daily artistic ritual in order to use this interlude to promote their common artistic creation, from this sharing was born the track “Young Man, Old Boy”. 
This album takes us through interludes of gritty noise, melancholic pop, avant-garde experimental music and powerful bass music. The artist treats each of these sounds with the same ethereal and melancholic layer creating a link between the atmospheres of his narrative.

This album marks the birth of the Jonnnah artistic entity, right down to the creation of a physical appearance conceived in collaboration with designer William Mora. The two artists worked together to create a series of masks that draw on intimate visuals from the history and culture of Jonnnah. The various masks were conceived as ritualistic costumes for the upcoming performances, participating in the creation of an alter ego between mysticism and chivalry.

Sann Odea proudly presents ‘Ithomiines', the first various artist LP and an immersive dive into the realm of experimental electronic music and narrative soundscapes. 

Drawing inspiration from the mesmerizing beauty of the Ithomiini butterflies, renowned for their delicate glass-like wings and intricate patterns, this compilation brings together 12 artists. It explores the concept of musical metamorphosis, mirroring the transformative journeys undertaken by these butterflies. Each track on the compilation is meticulously crafted, inviting you to connect with its unfolding story, building tension, and evoking emotions.

Zero Crossing Point is a sound designer originating from Grenoble, France. He released his first album on the Lyon-based imprint Comic Sans Records, combining sonic research and evocative melodies, influenced by many musical forms, ranging from film scoring to metal.

The compilation album takes its point of departure with the text ‘Hydrofeminism - Or, On Becoming a Body of Water’ by Astrida Neimanis and contains 18 tracks from the Copenhagen underground scene apart from a track from New York namely Laenz who earlier this year released a double single on the label. In each way the artists have interpreted the text by Neimanis and worked with its topics such as water, fluid borders and feminism. 

Alto Aria about the album: “With the current threat of a watering ban in Denmark, increasing pollution and lack of water all over the world, we zoom in on water with this album. We wish to follow Neimanis’ thread about water and feminism – she teaches us that we and our identity, like the fluid borders of the oceans, always are negotiable and never fixed. With the compilation we celebrate water and its essential role in our lives. Whether it is through the lens of clean drinking water, an identity in flux, dying fish, the western pollution level or something completely different, we wish this album to be a reflection over and a get together around what we all depend on.” 

The album has become a sonic collage of a watery quest, fast footsteps, shifting and fragmented choir pieces, broken beats and hearts, soothing synthesisers, harsh wind, caring bodies, uplifting beats, polyphonic saxophones and long reverbs. Hypersea is curated by Alto Aria and presents works by Hôy la, ilinx, Saltmother, Julia Becker, ill, Angel Wei, Lyra Valenza, Faber, Jason Lee, Bysund, Holger Seidelin, Astrid Nørgaard, KRY, Laenz, Varnrable, Messell, Skarv and Alto Aria. 

Rhizome is a Copenhagen/Berlin based label started in 2020 by Aria Leth Schütze and Mads Krue Bugge. The primary focus of the label is experimental electronic music and alternative release formats. Rhizome has released music by artists such as Alto Aria, Skarv, Swell, Polly, Nemo, ioulus, Laenz, Ida Urd, and ill as well as the compilation album bag/belly/box. So far Rhizome has presented music and artists in Copenhagen at Øen, Alice, Mayhem, and Christianshavns Beboerhus.
