Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (ROCK VERSION)(INSTRUMENTAL)

During the reign of Duke Galeazzo Maria Sforza (1444-76), Milan experienced an extraordinary musical era. In the 1470s, the Duke set out to form a ‘famous and worthy choir’, recruiting a ‘goodly number of singers from beyond the Alps and from various countries’. He soon assembled a musical ensemble that boasted some of the most celebrated musicians in the Franco-Flemish polyphony of the day, from Italy and beyond. 
The Duke brought into being a new kind of polyphonic mass, a cycle of motets called missales to replace the traditional ordinarium, with texts attributing special importance to the worship of Our Lady of Grace and Mercy, much beloved by the Sforza family. A masterpiece of the genre is the so-called Missa Galeazescha for five voices, composed by Loyset Compère and performed here by an ensemble inspired by the impressive size of Galeazzo Maria Sforza’s cappella. This recording brings together four vocal-instrumental groups.

Au cours du règne du duc Galeazzo Maria Sforza (1444-1476), Milan connut une vie musicale extraordinaire. Dans les années 1470, le duc réunit un « célèbre et digne chœur », recrutant « bon nombre de chanteurs au-delà des Alpes et dans différents pays ». Il assembla bientôt un ensemble musical composé de certains des plus célèbres musiciens de la polyphonie franco-flamande de l’époque, venus d’Italie et d’ailleurs.
Le duc créa une nouvelle sorte de messe polyphonique, un cycle de motets appelés missales, afin de remplacer l’ordinaire traditionnel, avec des textes réservant une importance particulière au culte de Notre-Dame de Grâce et de Miséricorde, très aimée dans la famille Sforza. La Missa Galeazescha de Loyset Compère pour cinq voix, chef-d’œuvre du genre, est enregistrée ici par un ensemble inspiré de la taille impressionnante de la cappella de Galeazzo Maria Sforza. Quatre groupes vocaux et instrumentaux sont réunis pour l’occasion.

This set almost made me cry... It became such a personal journey, playfully drifting between dark and light until the celebration of a new dawn and a final warm landing on the clouds. Like a trip, I only understood where I was taken after fully going through it, and I was so touched when I understood where and how it was supposed to end. This sunrise was for sure a dear moment for me to treasure for a lifetime <3 

Big gratefulness to @beatuniqueconnection and to @feelfestival for giving me the chance to express my heart and to the whole Fata Morgana family for holding this space that feels like a Oasis of Love and, of course, thank you all the dancers who resonated with me despite the rain falling through the parachute tent and who relented their hearts to my sound (:

The 7th Pi Electronics release hosts Chicago based producer, Jonathan Krohn, also known as Stave. It also includes a remix by Bristol based artist, known by the name Pessimist.

Some might be familiar with Stave’s music from his involvement with the collaborative project “Talker”. Here on this solo take, he delivers 4 original tracks to showcase his varied approach to Techno. From fast, drone oriented broken beats, to emotional synth melodies and industrial leaning hypnotic techno, PI07 shows the artist at his most expressive. The release is topped up by the remix of Drum and Bass affiliated artist Pessimist, who reworks track PI07.4 in his methodically dark style.
