By merging different genres, Holly North creates a mixture of electronic beats and classical elements. Zenlike Creature was initially set up as a side-project, born out of a love of the psychedelic music scene.

It could be said that this project is almost 30 years in the making since that wonderful summer of 93 and that first listen of the Ozric Tentacles 'Live Underslunky' album - it certainly opened more than just eyes! 

Since then it's been a continual music adventure hunting down bands and artists of similar style and genre. Whilst not always fruitful, there is a selection of bands/artists who have helped shape and influence Zenlike Creature and this work would not have happened without them: Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Shpongle, Steve Hillage, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Pink Floyd, and Hawkwind. 

The bands/artists above have taken us on some fantastic musical journeys and adventures and Zenlike Creature hopes to take you on some similar journeys too.
