"My name is Tiago Jaakko and this is my debut V/A compilation for the Almighty Zenon Records.

NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARKNESS” is my own take and personal view on the Z-Sound.

I will guide you into a deep journey through the full array of the Zenon Soundscapes and Aesthetics, a meticulously crafted selection of gem tracks diving through the solid representation of the Z concept of Music:

Dark Prog, Psy-Prog, Psychedelic Techno, Groovy, Glitch & Squelch, Swampy, Doof & Bush, Industrial, Small Talk and all the way to the immersive and emotional Cinematic Zenonesque.

I will be your pilot on this journey we will embark together from take-off to landing and I really hope you can enjoy my ride 🛸

I will lead you as you step into the hero’s journey, the clash between light and dark is many times not clear but blurred: fear or hope, self or selfish… two beings live inside you, the one that’s stronger is the one you feed, so who will you decide to be ?!

Alex Tolstey, DJ, record producer and director of Boshke Beats Records, label that almost for two decades ( since 2001) blending techno with trance, electro with acid house and other undefined electronic dance music styles. http://www.boshkebeats.com “Music connecting people and my role as a producer is to make this magic to happen in order to create more and more magic through it” says Alex in his recent interview for Japanese DJ Mag. Producing music as Triangle Eyes ( with ZV_K), The Rockitmen and Triple Distilled and working with such acts as X-Dream, The Delta, Extrawelt, Eitan Reiter, Fuzzion, to name a few, made Alex a well known producer and executor of so many albums and tunes you know. At the current moment except his Boshke Beats activities Alex is running Horns and Hoofs Entertainment and Gravity Plus Records labels (X-Dream’s official label) as well his known as directing manager of the famous techno-trance pioneers X-DREAM. He also plays psychedelic trance under Acid Black moniker and electro breaks and left field dance electronica as Triple Distilled.
