Stockholm-based web radio station airing new alternative sounds on a 24-hour basis, focusing on independently released (or unsigned) artists mainly from Scandinavia, UK, Australia/New Zealand and North America. The radio was founded as a non-profit initiative by Tommy Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden in June, 2008. Between 2010 and 2012 more than two hundred concerts at venues and festivals around Scandinavia were live streamed to our website. Most of them are now available to stream on-demand in our archive.

I've received a number of messages in recent weeks regarding fellow SoundCloud users having their remixes of Somebody That I Used To Know removed from SoundCloud due to copyright infringement. My personal position is that I don't try to block unofficial remixes posted for online streaming providing they're posted for purely creative reasons and are not exploited commercially (eg: monetized on YouTube).

Under current laws the formal consent of the label and publisher/s is required for any use along these lines however, and as much as I would like to help everyone out to attain this consent, there are simply too many requests relating to remixes of this particular song and too many rights holders involved for me or my reps to assist with Soundcloud keeping them up.

Continuously proving themselves as one of Australia’s premiere Indie Rock exports. The Montreals incorporate sleazy R&B hooks, So-Cal rock, and a dash of disco blended into your favourite smoothie. The stand alone singles ‘deadheads’ and ‘RUDE’ were positively received nationally and internationally, cartwheeling the line between polished and racaus, with both attracting multiple radio plays on Triple J (Australia) and KCRW (United States). Collectively, their music has clocked over 2 million streams on Spotify and been consistently added on coveted international playlists including Fresh Finds and Indie Arrivals.

2019 has proved to be the most fruitful year to date. The Montreals have already received nods from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, opening for them to over 40,000 patrons, as well as performing at Groovin The Moo Festival. A recent national tour support with Kingswood also saw the band play sold out dates nationally. Their breadth of audience has allowed the band to develop a devout fanbase which traverses traditional music demographics, nationally and internationally.

The Zen Panda was birthed on the Fleurieu coast of South Australia. Within its human form, the six brothers and sister have formed their own cross-genre blend that honestly represents their varied musical backgrounds. This is proved with their adaptability in live performance, with energetic and entertaining stage shows that pay homage to the knowledge and beliefs of the Zen Panda.
