We are welcoming a new member to the ZS family;
~ @JengiBeats ~ with his first official release through ZenSupremacy called "Lemon & Mint".

Jengi (Jan) has been crafting beats since high school and went to the Dutch Pop Academy (NLPA) in Utrecht. He is currently building on his own Koninkrijk Van Muziek label, which roughly translates into kingdom of music. Jengi has won several remix contests and thanks to various radio shows, that picked up his music, he is gaining international recognition.

About KA-YU:
KA-YU, also known as Woody Latuheru is a Dutch/Moluccan producer, percussionist & DJ from Oosterwolde, a small village in Holland. He recently uses his musicality to make Offbeat Hip Hop, soulful and jazzy music, much of it is sample based. In 2013 he started studying Sound-design in Leeuwarden to improve his mixing and producing skills. Besides music, he is also a fan of photography and visual art, this is also a great source of inspiration for his beats. KA-YU's goal is to try to bring over a certain ''feel good'' feeling with his music to his listeners. He finds the track idle moments a good example of this.

Arshaq Maliks's latest offering "Andromeda 2050", is a sonic manifesto of all that is human. Set in a fictional future, it envisions innovations Arshaq crafts masterfully. Beginning with the previously released "Storm The Studio" which feels as though one were in an intergalactic battlefront. The EP moves the listener suddenly, into an ethereal space with the melting vocals of "Anokhi" set on a downtempo groove. Moving through, it chronicles a demonic lair and it's purging with an almost liquid trap and drum and bass groove and rhythmic growls while an angelic chanting moves in the sonic space created in "Say no to humans". Ending the EP is the surreal "9-5" with it's dream-like tonality and glitchy groove. This EP offers something for every listener's ears.

jack cates is a producer I feel is way ahead of the style trend in the lofi hiphop scene. His drum selection primarily is what catches me the most. Usually the drums are soft and sweet and mixed tightly under the mix for atmosphere but in his music it's hard heavy and knocking over a beautiful delicate melody that makes you feel heavy real feelings like the depth of sadness if the song is sad or the intensiity of happiness when the song is happy. I love the way he contrasts his sounds, that being said; This song is quite different from his lofi material in that it's a bit more experimental but still holds true to the jack cates sound! Love this tune and I hope you do as well!
