Medussa AKA AARON FEVAH earned his DJ stripes back in the late 90's with hard house & hard trance pioneers Fevah Productions in London's underground scene. The weekly club brands Fevah & Fahrehite had a massive following and became London's longest-running weekly hard dance events that stretched over a 6 year period.

Fevah also hosted Massive Bank Holiday Events, Match Made in Heaven & Fevah events at historic London venues such as London Astoria, Ministry of Sound, The Scala and had the privilege of hosting the TDV Memorial @ Brixton Academy and Heaven Nightclub. Everyone knows the Fevah Record Label from back in the day, the music does all the talking!

Since Fevah Productions closed its doors in 2006 Aaron has been living and promoting various events and clubs on Thailand's Party Island of Koh Phangan where he has been Full Moon Party Resident for over 18 years at the only two underground music stages at the Event including the world-famous Mellow Mountain. 

Currently, Aaron is the resident DJ at Sunrise on Full Moon Night, guest DJ slots around the island & Bi-Weekly Guest at Escobar Jungle Party in Koh Tao.

More recently Aaron has started producing his music under the name of Medussa Music and has a string of releases on various labels later in the year, everything from Breaks to Progressive House Music.

Aaron plays for the crowd in front of him with an extensive collection of music both digital and vinyl format that he has collected over the last 25 years!

I can never understand why the hell a DJ or producer would talk about themselves in the 3rd person, for example: "Zeppelin is a class A bass whore", or "Zeppelin rather takes a fancy to straddling bass in a sexual manner. And if there's an audience then all the better...."

Once I start talking It will become apparent, rather rapidly, that I may not quite be all there with my mental faculties. Please be rest assured - I can promise that I don't present a significant risk unless I get excited....  : )

I started loving heavy music when I was around 16-17, which arrived to me in the form of heavy metal , there are far too many artists to list but a few would include: Strapping Young Lad, Emperor, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Slipknot, and of course the bands  before them: Metallica, Anthrax, Testament, Black Sabbath etc.  It wasn’t long before I picked up a guitar and started learning how to play their tunes.  Shortly after I left college at 18 I started playing in various metal bands as a rhythm guitarist, sometimes playing covers but mostly writing & performing our own material. The two main bands that I played in were called Skuzzle & Mind’s Dead More Alive, or MDMA for short ;-)

 I was first introduced to underground dance around the age of 23, where I stumbled into a field and discovered the existence of outdoor free parties. I very quickly fell in love with the culture of underground raves & the music played there, and especially the harder & faster side of underground dance.  And most definitely the tunes primarily driven by a heavy as fuck bassline ;-)

As I was a guitarist for several years before that mental summer, it was hardly surprising that I bought a pair of turntables, and started learning how to mix. Freeform was the first genre I started mixing, the fast-paced euphoric riffs & stomping kicks of NuEnergy records were quite literally the kick to my creative tendencies to start learning FL Studio 7 and start practising music production techniques & writing melodies & riffs. At the start of 2009, after I had been producing freeform for a year, I started jamming ideas for different genres, the likes of hard trance, psy-trance and schranz for example, but there was one genre amongst all that was jumping out at me.....

I had been collecting NRG records for a good 18 months at the start of 2011, and it was at this point I decided to focus on sculpting an original sound within the NRG genre for myself, and the first track that I produced with that mindset was "Siiiick". It was after the completion of Siiiick that I decided to switch my DAW to Ableton 8, and every tune after Siiick has been produced on this wicked little machine : )  Since my 1st release in February 2012 and to the end of the year 2013, I have had 10 releases across 6 separate NRG labels. 

So there you have it. Have a listen for yourself dudes, I’m sure the music will speak for itself : )
