This is the A-Side track on my new album Hybrid Juxta[com]position , which is the first album I have composed as Sadistic, though not in the traditional album format. Conceptualized to be a hybrid of live and post production, it presents two long pieces of music, one on each side of the cassette, both of which are exactly 31.27 minutes in length. Style wise it’s rooted in hardcore, as most of my music is, but goes way beyond that. For anyone who has been following my work over the last few years may have noticed it being tagged as ‘New Dimension Hardcore’. I chose this term because I feel that no existing style names accurately fit or describe the music I’m creating now. While I do incorporate lots of elements of Hardcore, Speedcore, Flashcore, Breakcore and Ambient, ‘New Dimension Hardcore’ is my vision of marrying what I like about these styles into my own. Hybrid Juxta[com]position is another step in this direction of fluid styles, progressive music and transcending boundaries.
