With the help of Cadence & Cause, each compilation released through black. will directly benefit those in need through partnerships with different charitable organizations. For a small (or large) donation you not only receive an entire compilation but also the piece of mind that just by sharing our passion for bass music you did your part in helping someone less fortunate. 

black. Vol. 1 features Youth On Record which provides at-risk teens in the Denver, CO area with access to music education as well as guidance to succeed as leaders of tomorrow. Almost all members of black. have been fortunate enough to have some sort of music education and now it’s our pleasure to help provide someone else with the same opportunity."

phuture: Your sound is becoming even more organic alongside textures that we hear in no other music. Any clues as to how?

Pacific Patterns : Field recordings, automating delay and reverb. Stretching and warping samples and re sampling them. Making custom wave tables in serum, re-sampling them, then put it back into serum.

Phuture: It’s weird to think this is only your third release on our main page! What a third one though! We can’t wait to talk about this track and some other stuff but first - let’s start off with what you ate for lunch :).

Floret Loret: I had a good ol’ chicken tender sub with mac n cheese on the side, sweet potato salad, chicken fettuccine with alfredo sauce, some green peas, pumpkin pie with the whipped cream, a honeycrisp apple cut ¼” slices with green grapes and pineapple chunks, a chicken caesar salad, whole-wheat spinach mac 'n' cheese with broiled tomatoes, grilled chipotle pork tacos with slaw, pan-seared salmon with kale and apple salad, HAM, and a butter croissant
