As we set sail into September, the festival season starts to come to a close and we begin to feel the faint Autumn force. As days shorten and nights lengthen, let the August Mixtape take the edge off. It's been yet another month for great music. Here, we share i-D's top selects from across the sonic spectrum including Ciara reworks from Jacques Greene, new music from Drake, The Weeknd, Zero 7, Skream, MIA, the return of Eminem and rap resurrection with the king of callouts from Kendrick Lamar.
 
Our magic carpet ride of music comes fittingly with fine artwork from Kansas City kid Leanna Perry. Too young to hit the clubs, she's an ambassador of the outdoors, urban exploring and illustrating crazy graphic environments.
