On this magical Saturday we take over Woodstock, the home to the free spirits and wild flowers on the Bloemendaal beach. Imagine everything and more. With a killer line up we finaly get to introduce Jacob Groening on our stage. We've been obsessing over this artist for a while now.

Amsterdam Music Sessions #3 with Jacob Groening Podcast

After 99 editions at a total of 117 hours delivered by several producers and djs, there is no doubt that it has been a long worldwide journey before ending up in our 100th edition. On this special occasion, the German electronic producer Jacob Groening (@jacobgroening) closes up this first series "chapter". Casa Caos will make a little break and we will be back soon. 
  
On this 100th edition Jacob shows off his unique ways of communicating with an audience through an ah-mazing live session during his most recente US tour, on a sunny September afternoon in Miami. Initially planned to be a faster set that afternoon groove took him to a much slower pace. Somehow it became this fluffy set sprinkled with colorful tracks, including some of his friends’ most recents productions, his latest creations and a few of old favorites. Nothing more to say just play.

Jacob Groening somehow manages to infuse organic, gypsy, blues and soul with electronic elements ... or is it the other way around? Make up your own mind. The musician, sound engineer and Dj’s songs never sound the same. Things keep shifting and fusing but still there is this gentle touch to bring some variation to the composition, and let it be sweet and subtle, and let there be house… or tech house, or slow house, whatever you want to call it. Jacob Groening is all about the experiment.

His live-set and unique dj sets have been acclaimed in a variety of destinations and constantly send him on various trips abroad.

Andshe fuhr letztens mit uns nach Leipzig zum Auftakt unserer zweiten Sea-Watch Solitour und begeistert uns direkt, sowohl  künstlerisch als auch menschlich. Als Teil der Kollektive @kybelean und @rolandsons-seasidetrip war sie uns schon sehr nah, doch nun lernten wir sie endlich persönlich kennen und luden sie auch gleich zu unserem neu aufgelegten Resocast ein.
Sie ist DJ und Produzentin und veröffentlichte ihren ersten Track in der Hystereofonica Compilation über @tropicaltwistarecords. Mit einer erstaunlichen Sensibilität erkundet sie die Grenzen des Downtempo-Genres und lässt raushören, dass sie von der dunklen Berliner Szene beeinflusst und begeistert ist. So wie wir von ihr!
