The duo's origins are from Reverse-bass Hardstyle, Electro-house, and Trance. Evolving over time - ZV incorporates the best from each genre. Their sound is primarily aspiration from established DJs like Yultron, Nitti Gritti, Virtual Self, TNT, Showtek, Valentino Khan, and Bryan Kearny. 
Zero Velocity mercilessly drops heavy, punchy kicks, gritty bass, rhythmic top-end, rap and vocals or sometimes... just the raw feeling of deep techy beats, rolling-bass through the body, and snare-slap to the face. At 150BPM. For starters.

T4NK is a self taught DJ from South Wales, he’s a down to earth, nice guy from a small town in the valleys and is well known for his happy/ energetic personality with a crazy obsession for hard dance music. As a teenager, he developed a passion for all genres of dance music following channels/ profiles such as Selected, Future house music & Autektone records but as the times have changed he fell in love with the much harder side of the music scene. A few DJs that have inspired his sound are, Creeds, David Rust & TNT. He has supported some massive names in the dance music scene such as, Darren Styles, David Rust, Billy Gillies and Ben Nicky. T4NK has had opportunities playing in front of crowds with up to 1500 people in some of Wales’s biggest festivals such as colour clash, in it together and escape in the park. He is a very diverse DJ and can play anything from drum and bass to raw style but hard dance will always be his first choice.
