Catalin Nedelcu, also known as Shar-K, was born in July 1982 in Bucharest, Romania. He grew up surrounded by disco clubs, where he developed a passion for hip-hop and house music.
Shar-K attended numerous underground parties in Bucharest and fell in love with deep house music. In his late twenties, he began teaching himself how to mix tracks.

For six years, he traveled the world on cruise ships, sharing musical vibes with people from various cultures. During this time, he performed as a DJ at the Crew Disco Club and at pool parties.

Shar-K started his career by playing at private parties and had several live sessions on Radio Deea, including appearances on the shows "Deea de Dimineata" and "Cinema Deea."

(Bucharest), Mövenpick Hotel (Colombo), Hotel Ramesses, and Rhythm 
and Blues in Sri Lanka.

 Expanding his reach across Europe, DJ DesH has performed in France 
and Italy, bringing his signature style to international audiences and 
further cementing his status as a global artist.

 He has shared the stage with respected names in the electronic music 
scene, including Subandrio (at his Romanian debut), Nishan Lee, 
Maze28, NOIYSE PROJECT, and Tali Muss, captivating dance floors 
with his evolving, globally informed electronic narratives.
 
In addition to his performance work, DJ DesH is passionate about 
nurturing the next generation of talent, having conducted DJ training 
sessions for beginners and continuously striving to elevate every aspect 
of the art form.
