Celestial Trax returns with new work of tonal-textural explorations.
On 'Lifecodes' the producer born Joni Judén weaves together a dense quilt of sound, shimmering and surging as it unfolds in free-time. Judén invites the listener down a luminous, harmonically adventurous path, where sound takes creaturely dimensions. The songs blossom and wilt, at times floating in states of ambivalence, at others washing over the listener like waves, bathing them in heavy light.

'Lifecodes' was created in the small village of Pynnölä, Joutsa in central Finland, where Celestial Trax has been living and working since 2020.

An era when you still had to leave your house to buy music, when Arnold Schwarzenegger's picture was still on DJ Hell's label designs, and Jamie Lidell was still doing techno. 
Some of you might know this mix already, but I'm putting it out there again to show that this is timeless future techno. From the past.

Imagine the Middle Ages: dirty knights in their cold armor, diseases claiming many lives, a feast during the plague, the struggle for truth, and the elusive dream of victory. This fate repeats itself in our time and in the future, it most likely will be inevitable too. All of these is feeling in the sound.
