Actual bass is from Waldorf Microwave.

The bass instrument itself is some kind of vox, not sure of the name but it's KORG something. Sonic and Tails are looking in disbelief in the thumbnail (or maybe I was just too lazy to make one). Oh also the marimba/xylophone instrument is actually from its source instead of some crappy recreation.

Also it was a total accident I found it, I just thought "huh that sounded kinda like it" and then compared and it sounded spot on, also checked through a spectogram and it came back as a VERY similar image.

Yet another instance of me covering a song because it was stuck in my head.

For those who may not know: This is the prototype version of Carnival Night Zone's music from a prerelease build of the game before the Jackson/Buxer tunes we know from the final game were implemented. This version of the song (as well as the ones for Ice Cap and Launch Base) was used in the Sonic & Knuckles PC Collection, but it wasn't until relatively recently that it was discovered these songs were originally planned for the Genesis version all along.

It's a remix of a remix that de-remixes the remix so it sounds like the original but with the arrangement from the remix.

I hope I made that confusing.



Sonic Adventure - The Air [3D Blast De-Remix]

Hey everyone! I really like this track a lot although I ironically don't care much for Super Mario 64. I know, I know, I'm awful, but I just never saw as much appeal in it as most others do. I really like Mario games but it's one of the few that I'm not in love with. Anyways, I put a LOT of time into this one, and while I was distracted, I would say a solid 5-6 hours of constant work was put into this one. I really hope that shows! I did a lot of things that I think made the track sound fuller over the original, with some extra melodies and stuff. Thanks for listening and I hope you like it!
