Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero - Mythos

This is a collection of the Megaman Zero 1/2/3/4 remastered tracks. They should be in order by game. If you can't already tell, this list is work in progress, and I will try to add more tracks in the future.




One of the more interesting aspects I encountered in these games was the slew of references to various religions and mythologies. I found these references, alongside the games’ cyclic depiction of war and hopelessness, a good reminder of how different worldviews portray suffering, and how they attempt to resolve it. According to Megaman series, suffering really never ends, as the “happy” endings are eventually overwritten by the strife of a future generation, as seen through the progression of the Classic, X, Zero, and ZX series.
While the scenarios in the games are fictious, the sentiment itself is prevalent in the real world. It is a pretty bleak view of the future, especially compared to a Christian worldview, which provides a causation and resolution to the struggle. Initially, God and man lived in harmony. However, out of rebellion, man disobeyed God, which rent the relationship between God and man, and plunged the world and man into the imperfect state they are currently in. Because of this, man intrinsically rebels against God, by following their own desires and denying God’s existence. 
Despite this though, God is a loving being, and He wants to restore the original relationship. However, because God is also just, He could not pardon mankind’s intrinsic rebellion without some form of payment. 
To resolve this, God sent His Son Jesus, to live without rebellion among men, and eventually suffer and die. Because Jesus was perfect, but still incurred the punishment as if he was disobedient, God is now able to extend forgiveness to mankind, and eventually restore the relationship that was lost. However, this forgiveness can only be extended towards those that acknowledge their helpless state without Jesus’s sacrifice, resent their disobedience, and ask for His forgiveness. 
Compared to the bleakness of the current world, and the endless cyclic struggle communicated in the games, having this promise makes me thankful that God offers this chance of restoration to everyone, including myself.
