They say I burnt down my house
I’d burn down this town if I could.
This place is home to all manner of devils and demons and ghouls and mindless buffoons.


They say that I am psycho,
I’d say I’m managing well.
All of the lies run free through the aisles knocking the goods off the shelf


And it’s my job to pick up the pieces
And act like they were never broken
The burn house is an inside joke
The only person not laughing is me.


The friends that we made were bundled with hatred I never knew I needed to vanquish.
The circles they drew were melted together from all the heat of their self-loathing measures


The flames lick the roof and punch a hole through it to reach to the sky and burn down the blueing
The masks are all ashes and dust covered faces revealing their singular mission to break us.


And it’s my job to burn up my victory
To spend it and give you relief
The darkness that lights up from the flames of this house
It’s worse than I ever believed.


And it’s my job to see all your secrets.
They hide in the cracks of the streets.
The willingness of the police state
To make me anything other than free


And it’s my job to watch as my children
Become the next victims you seek.
You people all failed and so you only can
Live now vicariously.


And it’s my job to trade in the names that I’ve earned.
I now am just charges and scenes.
All the world is one big stage and
none of the grass down here is green.


And it’s my job to pick up the pieces

The only person that’s hurting is me.
The only person that’s mourning is me.

I'm being framed for arson, and this series of events has done things to my life that are biblical in nature, unfathomable, unrealistic, like a bad acid trip that I can't wake up from.

So I wrote an album, and turned the darkness into light, because I am a warrior guided by God himself, and you'll have to kill me to take my light out of this world.
