Poker Flat Recordings welcome Raha Medzhidov to the stable for this exceptional package. Monoplay is Raha’s new project, and the Russian producer follows up a run of great projects on labels such as ITech Sound System, Kommunity and Human Resourses with another key release. The result is 'Anymore' - five tracks of deep, techy house music. The title track is here in three versions – the original sees Monoplay find a dark, infectious groove via his signature interplay of percussive elements, echo drenched synths and superb vocals by Raha himself. 

The instrumental version is also included, alongside a killer remix by Manuel Tur. Even more stripped down, Tur’s reworking of 'Anymore' is a sleek and deadly weapon sure to cause damage on many dancefloors this year.

'I Was' is a little lighter in vibe yet just as effective - a slinky rhythm and a thick, warm bass accompany Raha’s distinctive vocals.

'I Was' as an instrumental version is available in selected stores.

‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic. 

Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992. It stands as one of the most treasured pieces of vinyl in Adam Beyer’s collection and this six-part compilation of remixes and remakes marks a highpoint in Drumcode’s history. 

The package consists of a punchy pin-sharp 2019 version of the original, as CJ Bolland and The Advent polish the edges of their time-honoured rave favourite. Maceo Plex makes his return to DC after 2014’s ‘Conjure Dreams’ and his is a bustling industrial take, with distorted vox that gives way to sheaths of stirring melody, before the spine-tingling chords enter the fore and the cut drops into broken beats. Vintage Maceo. Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew. Adam Beyer and Layton Giordani team up with their own groove-injected, future-focused adaption, all the while never losing sight of the misty-eyed spirit of the original. In contrast to the peak-time prowess of the other respective versions, rising Dutch talent Keith Carnal moulds a liquid smooth interpretation heavy on hypnosis and sparse drums. The Advent rounds out the package with his own fresh version, a whip-smart cut that chops and changes between pounding drums, dreamy synth interludes and warbled effects.

In fame rising progressive producer, David Leckenby joins the PHW Elements brand on original duty as he delivers this absolute beauty baptized as “Solace”. With a warm bassline setting the pace, introducing well selected melodic arrangements, this is surely a rare gem from this ever growing artist. It’s what progressive is about, evolving and sending listeners on a journey through sounds. It’s definitely a stand out production from the Australian and Melbourne native not to be missed. 

Another Australian returns to the label as Dan Baber returns to PHW Elements. It’s always a joy seeing him back on the roster as he’s a producer we always held high with his very own and unique style. This is another prompt evidence that he is keeping things his own way and being a creative mind with so many paths to walk with his music. With a truly quirky and intense remake of the original ideas, he surely spice things up with his interpretation. It’s moody and very unique in style, a great complement to the original ideas. 

Last but not least we see another return to the label as long time buddy Stefan Hofland returns with his Difstate moniker. Stefan is a producer that now has been with PHW Elements for a rather long time and we love every time he finds time to return. For those of you following us and him, know everything about this Dutch artist. Being a phenomenon writing etching melodic hooks with creative textures, he once more proves he is here to stay. This time he is taking the orignal and strip it down to something really different as he has written this as a downtempo production. There is so much atmosphere and quality textures written for it and we just can’t help ourselves here, but we do adore this one so much, heartwarming material from Stefan! 

We hope you will enjoy another PHW Elements release, including that richness and diversity that we love with music.
